About Us
We are a new cinema in Huddersfield, opened in April 2025. As part of our programme we provide a cinema experience suitable for people with certain disabilities. On a monthly basis we have a dementia friendly screening – with no adverts, trailers, and the lights are slightly raised throughout the film. Refreshments are served before the film, and guests are welcome to move around during the screening. There is also a break half way through the film.
Tickets are just £5 (free for the accompanying carer).

The Light Cinema is in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, access from the centre and from Zetland Street.
There is parking in Kingsgate Shopping Centre, Take your ticket with you and have it validated in the cinema complex to get special charges at £2.60 for 4 hours during the week
