Shared Harmonies are a welcoming group who enjoy singing. You can get more information at https://www.sharedharmonies.co.uk.
“Sing from the Heart” has been launched by Shared Harmonies for people living with dementia. The group started in September 2023, and runs weekly on Tuesdays from 10am – 11.30am at Calderdale Music, Blackwall, Halifax HX1 2DL.
The aim is to create a friendly and supportive group for people living with dementia, including family members and carers. Shared Harmonies will be sharing simple songs and encouraging gentle movement to help people relax, have fun and feel uplifted.
The session is free, with refreshments provided. The building is accessible, with lift access.
The sessions will be run by Teresa and Jess from the Shared Harmonies team, who are trained and experienced in delivering singing for people living with dementia.
